ARGYLE signed experienced midfielder Damien Johnson from Birmingham City on a two-and-a-half year deal in January 2010.
An experienced international, Johnson joined Birmingham City from Blackburn Rovers in 2002 having graduated through the Ewood Park youth system.
The creative midfielder made a total of 81 appearances for Rovers and enjoyed a short loan spell with Nottingham Forest before his move to St Andrews.
Johnson's arrival at Birmingham coincided with the club's return to the Premier League and he was an ever-present for a number of seasons after that before being awarded the Club Captaincy in 2006.
Damien has won 56 caps for Northern Ireland in an international career that has spanned over a decade.
Johnson made his Argyle debut in the 1-0 defeat to West Brom at Home Park on February 6, 2010.
