ICELANDIC international Kari Árnáson became Argyle manager Paul Sturrock's third signing of the season after a successful trial.
Kari first featured in a specially arranged trial match at Harper's Park, where 24 hopefuls put their talents on show in three half-hour matches.
The next evening, he played the second half of a 2-0 win over Truro City at Treyew Road and from there, Lugy knew he had the right man.
Kári, who has won 15 caps for Iceland, was the only one of the two dozen to sufficiently impress Argyle manager Paul Sturrock.
Last season, he was loaned out by Aarhus to fellow Danish Superliga side Esbjerg fB - in total, he played more than 20 times for the two teams.
He had joined Aarhus from Swedish side Djurgårdens IF in January 2007, after previously playing for local side Víkingur, of Reykjavik.
He made his debut for the Icelandic national team in September 2006, a 3-0 European Championship qualifier against a Northern Ireland including Pilgrim Tony Capaldi.
Kári Árnáson is kindly sponsored by Independent Utilities.
