PLAYER of the Season in his first full campaign for Argyle, Kriztián Timár, arrived at Home Park in January 2007 on a short-term loan deal from Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
The deal soon became permanent when he signed for £100,000 the following summer.
Last season was a fantastic one for the Beast of Budapest. He played a huge part in Pilgrims' impressive league campaign, earned his first full cap for Hungary and finished off as Argyle captain for the last two games.
Fate, however, dealt the menacing Magyar a cruel blow with just 25 minutes of the season remaining. A sickening clash at Wolves left him needing an operation to insert metal plates in a serious head wound.
Last season was a difficult one for the Beast, with Craig Cathcart and Marcel Seip forcing an excellent defensive partnership, which has limited his opportunities.
Timár has previously represented Ferencvaros in the UEFA cup and played for BKV Elore, Videoton, Tatabanya in Hungary as well as Finnish side Jokerit.
Krisztián is currently on loan at League One Oldham Athletic.
Krisztián Timár is kindly sponsored by The Ark Pet Centre, Plymouth.
