WINGER Yannick Bolasie began his career as a youngster with Rushden & Diamonds before spending a season with Hillingdon Borough.
The flying Yala then made the brave decision to join Maltese club Floriana, for whom he instantly impressed with his extravagant pace.
Yala arrived at Home Park on trial in the summer of 2008 and was quickly signed on a two-year deal amid interest from Austrian club, Sturm Graz.
Manager Paul Sturrock sent Yala on loan to Rushden & Diamonds, but the move proved short-lived. A loan spell at Barnet came next and Yala began to mature as an explosive winger in League Two.
He started last season back on loan with the Bees but returned to Home Park in January 2010. Paul Mariner gave Yala his first game for Argyle as a substitute in a 3-1 win at Barnsley in February 2010 and it was to be one of the most impressive debuts any Green has ever seen.
Yala's blistering pace, phenomenal skill and committed attitude proved enough to earn him a new deal with the Pilgrims in the summer of 2010.
