ARGYLE signed Blackburn Rovers winger Alan Judge on a season-long loan just before the Pilgrims' opening game with Crystal Palace.
Attacking midfielder Judge first joined Argyle in January 2009 from Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of the 2008-09 season.
Judgey proved to be a huge success at Home Park, exciting fans with his electric pace and tricky dribbling skills.
In all, the young Irishman made 17 appearances and scored two goals in his first spell at Argyle, after his debut in the 0-0 draw away at Ipswich.
Perhaps Judgey's finest moment in Green was his fantastic goal against Coventry City at Home Park in April when his mazy run resulted in a curled effort from the edge of the penalty area to give the Pilgrims an unassailable 3-0 lead.
Judge had made an impressive start to the pre-season at Ewood Park, featuring in a number of Blackburn's friendlies, including matches against AS Roma and CD Nacional.
Despite that, Argyle manager Paul Sturrock has managed to persuade his Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce to part with the highly-rated youngster for another season.
Judge made his senior debut for Blackburn in August 2008 as a substitute in the Carling Cup against Grimsby, after impressing in Blackburn's reserve team the previous campaign, in which he scored seven goals.
Alan has now established himself as a regular in the Republic of Ireland U21 set-up and has earned himself seven caps, scoring one goal.
