SEASON TICKETS
ARGYLE fans are being offered a chance to meet their heroes and shadow Pilgrims' manager Paul Sturrock at a training session.
One lucky loyal supporter will be chosen for the money-cannot-buy VIP prize from all those who buy their 2008-9 season-tickets between next Monday, April 14 - when they go on sale - and May 16.
Another lucky fan will get their 2009-10 season-ticket for free, while all the early-birds who buy their ticket for next season will benefit from a price lower than it will be after May 16.
For the first time ever, the club is providing early-bird supporters with the opportunity to spread the cost of their season-ticket over 10 months' interest-free credit.
After May 16, prices are likely to be increased and there will not be the chance to spread payments at the 0% finance, no extra cost, option.
"The fans have stuck with us through thick and thin, so this is our way of saying 'thank you' to them," said manager Paul Sturrock.
"Not only will they save money by buying before May 16, but they'll also be guaranteeing themselves a seat."
Also for the first time, Argyle fans will be able to buy family season-tickets for the award-winning Herald Family Section in Block 1 of the Devonport end.
Early-bird season-ticket prices for next season are only slightly increased on last year's cost but, because of the 0% finance option, supporters who pay by instalment will find it marginally cheaper than they did 12 months ago.
They are also still cheaper than last year for adults and those aged 65 and over who bought their season-ticket after May 18 last year.
Everyone who buys a season-ticket will be entered into a prize draw to win an exclusive VIP day at Home Park, meet the players, watch a training session, have lunch with Paul Sturrock, and receive a signed framed photograph as a memento.
They will also be entitled to priority on cup and away match-tickets; 10% off all retail purchases when they spend £15 or more in the Home Park Superstore or the Centre Spot at Drake Circus and a £5 voucher redeemable against their first purchase of £15 or more (excluding tickets); plus there is the chance to win next year's (2009-10) season ticket - when they give the club their correct email address and mobile 'phone number on the application form.
They will also receive special offers in conjunction with other leisure facilities in Plymouth.
"Plymouth Argyle is the top sporting brand in Devon and Cornwall - and we want to go up a league in every sense of the word," said Luggy.
"This is the best time in many years for fans to be here at Home Park, and me and the lads look forward to seeing them all here next season."
Existing season-ticket holders will have up to an including Sunday, June 22 to reclaim the seat they have used this season.
