ARGYLE have 14 youth aged players signed-up for season 2011/12 - five first-years, eight second-years plus one young professional.

FIRST YEARS:
JAMES BRADLEY (Defender):
16, born October 3, 1994
From Ivybridge, he is a former Ivybridge Community College student who first signed Centre of Excellence forms at age 9 in May 2004. Played representative schools football for Plymouth under-15's and Devon under-16's. Last season had 8 outings for the youth team, scoring one goal, and also one substitute appearance for the Reserves.

ANDREW ELCOCK (Midfielder)
16, born October 17, 1994
From Launceston, this former Launceston College student graduated through via the club's development centres at Stoke Climsland and Bodmin before signing Centre of Excellence forms as a 13-year-old in November 2007. Played for East Cornwall under-15 and Cornwall under-16 schools representative teams.

TYLER HARVEY (Midfielder)
16, born June 29, 1995
From Oreston in Plymouth, he also attended Ivybridge Community College. Signed Centre of Excellence forms for the Pilgrims, aged 9, in July 2004. He is the son of well-known South West Peninsula League player, Lee Harvey. Played for Plymouth schools under-15's. Had one run-out for Argyle Reserves as a substitute last April.

MATT LECOINTE (Striker)
16, born October 28, 1994
From Higher Compton in Plymouth and the third ex-Ivybridge Community College student in this summer's intake. He joined Argyle back in November 2003, when only just eight. Played schools representative football for Plymouth under-15's Devon under-16's. Last season made 4 substitute appearances for the youth team and 1 for the Reserves.

JAKE RAMDAY (Striker)
16, born October 25, 1994
From Teignmouth, and a former student at Teignmouth Community College. He first joined Argyle as a 10-year-old in September 2005 but was released after two years, spending the next two seasons with Exeter City before returning to Home Park in May 2009 Played schools football for Torbay under-15's and Devon under-16's. Last season made one start and three substitute appearances for the youth team, and two substitute outings for the Reserves.

SECOND YEARS:
BEN CLARVIS (Midfielder):
18, born February 28, 1993
From Decoy, near Newton Abbot. Used to attend Torquay Boys Grammar School. Attended the Devon F.A. Development Centre at Ottery St. Mary for five seasons prior to joining our Centre of Excellence in September 2008. Played schools football for Torbay under-15's and Devon under-16's His first two seasons as an apprentice were hampered by two ankle ligament injuries and two shoulder injuries, all of which required operations. His appearances have been restricted to just 4 starts and 1 sub outing for the Youths and 1 start and 2 sub outings for the Reserves last season. His apprenticeship has therefore been extended to December 31, 2011.

JORDAN PEARCE (Defender)
17, born September 9, 1993
From Ivybridge, he signed Centre of Excellence forms just over three years ago. A product of the Ivybridge Community College football academy. Former Devon schools under-16 player. Made 3 starts and one sub appreance for the Youth team when still a schoolboy, and followed that up last season with 11 starts for the Youths and 3 starts and I sub appearance for the Reserves.

JED HARPER-PENMAN (Right-winger)
17, born February 2, 1994
From Barnstable, North Devon. A former student at Pilton Community College and a product of the Pilgrims' development centre at Chivenor. He moved up into the Centre of Excellence just over three years ago. A former North Devon under-15 and Devon county under-16 player. Something of a prodigious talent, as a schoolboy he made 13 starts and 6 sub appearances, (scoring 5 goals) for the and also enjoying two substitute outings for the Reserves. Then last season made 17 starts and 1 sub appearance for the Youths (scoring twice), five starts for the Reserves, and twice came on as a substitute for the First team.

JORDAN COPP (Midfielder):
17, born September 29, 1993
From Saltash, and a former student at Saltash.net Community College. Joined the Pilgrim's Centre of Excellence at age 9. Played representative football for South-East Cornwall under-15's and Cornwall under-16's. As a schoolboy made 7 starts and 9 sub appearances for the Youth team. Followed that up last season with 16 starts and 7 sub appearances for the Youths (scoring four goals) and 5 starts and 3 sub appearances for the Reserves.

JORDAN BERRY (Midfielder)
17, born September 26, 1993
From Hayes in Middlesex, and a former pupil of Mellow Lane School, Hillingdon. Previously on Brentford's books, he signed for the Pilgrims in January 2010. As a schoolboy made 12 starts for the Youth team and also enjoyed one outing as a sub for the Reserves. Followed that up last season with 17 starts and 3 sub outings for the Youths (scoring once) and 2 starts and 3 sub appearances for the Reserves.

DAN HART (Midfielder)
17, born May 3, 1994
From Plympton in Plymouth, and used to attend Ridgeway school. Joined the Greens' Centre of Excellence aged 9. Played for Devon schools' under-16's. As a schoolboy enjoyed 5 starts and 3 sub outings for the Youth team. Then last season made 14 starts and 8 sub appearances for the Youths and 4 starts and 2 sub outings for the Reserves.

JARED SIMS (Striker)
17, born October 16, 1993
From Truro, where he attended Penair school. Graduated via the former PAYD development centres at Newquay and St. Austell, and then the advanced development centre at Bodmin, before moving up to the Pilgrims' Centre of Excellence over five years ago. Played schools representative football for West Cornwall under-15's and Cornwall under-16's. As a schoolboy made 12 starts and 9 sub appearances for the Youth team (scoring 6 goals), and one start and one sub outing for the Reserves. Last season made 17 starts and 5 sub appearances for the Youths (scoring 3 times) and 4 starts and 1 sub outing for the Reserves (scoring once).

ISAAC VASSELL (Striker)
16, born September 9, 1993
From Newquay, and a student at Tretherras school. A nephew of former Aston Villa, Manchester City and England striker Darius Vassell, Isaac came up through Argyle's Cornish development centres, following the same route as Jared Sims. Also played for West Cornwall under-15's and Cornwall schools' under-16's. Last season made 5 starts and 9 sub appearances (scoring once) for the Youth and 1 start and 1 sub appearance for the Reserves.

JAMIE RICHARDS (Defender)
16, born June 24, 1994
From Newton Abbot. Former student at South Dartmoor Community College. Originally from Essex and with Southend United, he moved to Devon and joined the Pilgrims aged 9. Played for Torbay under-15's and Devon under-16's schools' representative teams. As a schoolboy made 9 starts and 5 sub outings for the Youth team and 4 starts and one sub appearance for the Reserves. .Last season made 21 starts for the Youths (scoring 2 goals) and 11 starts for the Reserves. Up-graded to the professional ranks on July 1, 2011.
