An ever reliable man between the sticks for Argyle, Luke won Argyle's Player of the Season along with a host of other individual silverware from other supporters club branches. During his impeccable form last season, Luke made 46 starts, picking up 21 clean sheets along the way.
The former Home Park trainee, who made 157 appearances for the Greens between 2001-08, first appeared for the Pilgrims in the 2003-04 season. He quickly established himself as a promising young goalkeeper and set a club record of seven consecutive clean sheets when Argyle beat Stockport 2-0 in January 2004, leading him to win the fans’ Most Promising Player award, as well as helping the Pilgrims reach the Football League Championship.
His first spell at Home Park came to an end in 2008 but he returned to the club five years later after spells at non-league Truro City and League 2 Oxford United. McCormick played 28 times in the Greens’ 2013-14 campaign, with a finger injury ruling him out for a large part of the season. Luke played all but 45 minutes of Argyle's 2014-15 campaign, and is a solid basis for Argyle to build success.
