About Home Park
OUR Home Park stadium is based in the Milehouse area of the city, next to Central Park.
With green fields and park lands on three sides of the ground, it really has to rank as one of the best placed grounds in British Football.
Travel –If arriving by road, from the east, take the A38 to Plymouth and exit at Manadon roundabout, signposted “Plymouth Argyle and Ferry Port” and A386. Take the second exit at the roundabout, following the direction of the flyover, to the left. Travel a mile on this road, and Home Park will appear on your left.
If coming from the west, head towards Plymouth on the A38, and take the junction indicated above, but take the fifth exit, to the right.
For Sat-Nav purposes, the postcode of the ground is PL2 3DQ.
If arriving by train, you have a 15-20 minute picturesque (though uphill) walk through the back of Central Park to reach the ground. Alternatively, you’ll be here in five minutes via taxi.
If arriving by air: congratulations, you have invented time travel, as the city’s airport closed in July 2011.
Parking – Home Park has a very large – and free! – car park just outside the ground. It is council-run, and is typically a park-and-ride car park into the city. It is free to use on match-days, but will obviously begin to fill up very early for many fixtures, especially local Derbies, Bank Holiday fixtures, etc.
Be very wary of parking on streets in the nearby area. Some require parking permits, some do not. Be extra aware of parking restrictions in the Life Centre next to the ground, as there are frequently enforcement officers on hand to clamp down on illegal parking there.
