About The 50-50 Lottery

1 August 2012

The 50-50 Society was originally formed in 1997 and the committee comprises of a voluntary group of die-hard members of the Green Army.

During this time, the Society has raised in excess of £500,000 for the benefit of the club and fans.

Tickets cost 50p and can be bought from our official sellers wearing the 50/50 tabards or from the new 50/50 Office which is now situated behind the Grandstand next to 26 (the old Ladbrokes booth).

At every first-team home game, the tickets are entered into a prize draw which is staged on the pitch during the half-time interval. Do not worry if you miss the draw as all winning numbers are put around the ground and hospitality areas during the second half, and will also be shown on the official website.

Following the deductions of any legitimate expenses, the first prize consists of a cash prize which amounts to 50% of the total ticket receipts, divided equally between prize fund and donations to Argyle,

The other prizes consist of lesser amounts of cash or other donations from sponsors who support us regularly throughout the season. The Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors who have contributed prizes to support Plymouth Argyle.

If you have bought a 50/50 ticket and have one of the winning numbers then claiming your prize could not be simpler. After the match, please make your way to the club’s official reception and produce your winning ticket to receive your cheque or prize voucher. You have up to 28 days to claim from the date of the draw. Any unclaimed prizes will be used at a future match.

The 50/50 could not survive without the continued support from you, the fans, and we look forward to this our 15th season. Thank you for all your support.
