WOULD you believe it? We’ve come up with something really different for the new season. In partnership with our main club sponsor WH Bond, we have installed brand spanking new dug-outs...made entirely of wood.
The eye-catching Football League first showcases the design and building quality of timber specialists WH Bond, who are about to begin their second season as our valued sponsors.
Made of top-notch cedar, the home and away dug-outs will easily accommodate the management teams and the seven substitutes that will be used in npower League 2 games this season.
They will be officially opened before our season curtain-raiser against Aldershot on Saturday, August 18.
That is not the only difference fans will notice when they come to Home Park for Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Birmingham City.
Groundsman Dave Radmore has installed goal-netting in the club colours of green and white for the goals.
The Pilgrims play two pre-season friendlies at Home Park before kicking off the season proper at home when Portsmouth visit in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday, August 14.
Admission prices for both pre-season games at Home Park are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
However, club Members who buy a ticket for both the Birmingham and Preston friendlies will only be charged half-price for one of the games.
