CARL Fletcher paid tribute to Guy Madjo after the expiry of striker’s loan from Aldershot.

Guy did not figure in the Pilgrims’ 1-1 draw at Exeter on Saturday, watching the game with team-mates and the Green Army from the away end of St James’ Park.

“He’s done great,” said the Argyle manager.

“We brought him in when were bare bones, with no strikers, and he’s a real good character, a real nice guy. All the lads like him and we wish him all the best for the future.

“He’s been a model pro and he’s trained hard every day. I think he might have enjoyed his time here. He would have liked to play a few more games, but that’s just the way it goes.”

Fletch did not rule out a fresh move for Madjo in the New Year.

He said: “We have got to sit down and see where finances are for January and what we have got and haven’t got, and go from there.”
