AFTER six consecutive, left-back Scott Griffiths dropped to the substitutes’ bench for Wednesday night’s encounter with Burton Albion.Scott had played six consecutive games for the Pilgrims having joined on loan from Peterborough in early October and Argyle manager Carl Fletcher thought that he might benefit from a rest.
“Scott’s had a lot of games recently,” said Carl.
“He’s done brilliantly since he’s come in but he didn’t have a lot of games before he came here so it was a just a case of giving him a breather.
“We are lucky we had the option to be able to do that.”
Griffiths was brought in to the club as cover for the injured Robbie Williams and Fletch confirmed that Williams is still on his way back to fitness.
Fletch said: “He’s not there yet. He’ll be another couple of weeks.”
