Jamie's Journey Back

JAMIE Lowry is continuing to make steady progress in his return from his ankle injury.

The 25-year-old close-season capture from Chesterfield has been hors de combat since suffering ligament damage in the Pilgrims’ second pre-season game at Truro.

“He started running this week,” said manager Carl Fletcher. “So it’s a good sign for us.

“He is progressing. He had another scan last week and he’s been seeing the consultant, so we are on top of things.

“He’s a good lad and a good pro. He’s done his hard work while he’s been injured and, hopefully, once he gets back fully into training, he should be available for selection.”
