LOAN signings Guy Madjo and Ross Jenkins have both earned widespread praise from for their displays as Pilgrims, so it was no surprise to hear their manager say the same thing.

Carl Fletcher has borrowed Guy from Aldershot and Ross from Watford on emergency loans to cover the Pilgrims’ recent glut of injuries and has been impressed with what he has seen.

He said: “Guy had not played a lot before he came here so it was good to get a few training sessions in him.

“He comes in; he works hard; he’s an experienced player; he’s played in this division before so he’s fitted right in.

“The lads have taken to him and he’s integrated very well.”

Jenkins scored on his debut against Morecambe last week and, whilst Carl will admit that he did not sign the former England under-20 midfielder for screamers from the edge of the box, he was certainly impressed with his impact.

“I was pleased with everyone last week but it’s nice when you get a new player in and you put him straight in the team, he slots in,” said Fletch.

“Ross did that and all the lads have taken to him and made him feel welcome.

“We’ll try and make his stay as easy and as hassle free as possible so he can concentrate on playing football.”
