Bhasera Is Player Of The Season

ONISMOR Bhasera is your Argyle Player of the Season.

Baz, as he is affectionately known, wins the award after beating off stiff opposition in the most hotly contested Player of the Season contest the club has seen for quite a while.

Supporters from across the country have voted in their droves and crowned the Zimbabwe international, a Pilgrim of over three years, after he enjoyed an impressive season in which he missed only a handful of games.

Bhasera has been a constant menace to npower League 2 right-backs throughout the season and has played a vital part in the Pilgrims’ resurgence in recent weeks.

Baz’s only goal this season came at Accrington, where he opened the scoring for the Pilgrims in a 1-1 draw in Lancashire, but he did play pivotal role in Michael Hector’s own goal for Cheltenham a fortnight ago.

Bhasera arrived at Home Park in the early months of 2010, following a confusing few months as transfer upon transfer to English clubs from South African club Kaizer Chiefs fell through.

Since then Bhasera has stuck with the Pilgrims through arguably the toughest three years in the club’s history, and has impressed the Green Army every step along the way.

Well done, Baz, from all your friends and colleagues at Home Park.
