Goodbye From Lee

MIDFIELDER Lee Cox has played his last game for Argyle.

The Swindon Town loanee faces a spell on the side lines after a scan revealed a shoulder ligament injury, originally suffered in the Devon Expressway derby win over Exeter City.

Manager John Sheridan was of course disappointed to lose Lee, who had been an ever present since joining the club in early February

“It is a shame,” said John.

“[Lee] needs an operation and its best for him to have the operation now.

“It’s a crying shame as he has been a big lift for us.

“He’s been very good in the dressing room and on the training ground and he is a bit of a character underneath everything.

“He has played a big part in his performances as well. It’s a shame he has to miss out but he has played a big part to get us where we are at this moment.”

Everybody at Home Park thanks Lee for his contribution to the cause and wishes him a swift recovery.
