Could You Commentate?

FANCY yourself as a football commentator? The next John Motson or Clive Tyldesley? Or even Gordon Sparks?

Well, Argyle are hosting a one-day course at Home Park later this month for budding sporting microphone masters.

The one-day course is in association with Soccer Sight, which aims to bring quality football commentary to blind and partially-sighted people at every professional football club in the country.

On the course, you will gain practical hands-on experience, as well as instruction in technique and preparation methods.

The host is Alan March, who commentated at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and has been behind the mike for FA Cup and Champions’ League finals at Wembley. He was also the voice of the of the live ITV programme Splash.

The course is on Thursday, August 29 between 10am-4.45pm and costs £50 (£40 for under 16s and students). Bookings will be on a first come, first served basis and payment in advance is requested to guarantee attendance.
