JOHN Sheridan is choosing to keep his ’keeping choice close to his chest.
The Argyle manager has admitted that his decision on which quality custodian – Jake Cole or Luke McCormick – to select in goal for Saturday’s Sky Bet League 2 curtain-raiser at Southend has been a tough one.He said: “I’ve spoken to both of the lads – I’ve known for five-six days what my team is going to be.
“I’ve made it clear that it’s very tight and it’s been a difficult decision, but I can only pick one.
“It’s difficult because they are very evenly matched. It’s 50-50.
“Whoever I play in that position is hopefully going to perform very well; the one who isn’t will be pushing him. I know they are going to push each other.”
