GOZIE Ugwu has extended his loan spell from Reading.
The teenage striker’s original one-month, injury-hampered, youth loan had expired after last Saturday’s home game against Oxford United.
However, the two clubs have agreed that Gozie should now remain at Home Park up until and including the Pilgrims’ League 2 game at Chesterfield on March 23.
The Oxford match marked the 19-year-old’s full Argyle debut, nearly a month after he arrived at Home Park.
A training-ground ankle injury had kept him out of action until the previous Saturday, when he had a brief taste of action as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 victory at Aldershot.
