He Could Only Go And Do It

LIVING Argyle legend Paul Wotton could achieve a significant career milestone if plays against Oxford United on Saturday.

The 35-year-old is just one outing away from drawing level with Fred Craig at third on the Pilgrims’ all time appearance list.

Argyle manager John Sheridan was quick to praise the veteran for his all action display against Aldershot but stopped short of confirming his selection against the U’s.

“You’ll find out I don’t like to give away too much about my team!” joked John to the press on Thursday.

“Wotts came in and did very well last week.

“I went with my instinct and I thought it was a game where he could help us out because he’s a good talker.

“He’s very vocal and he came in and did well.

“Obviously, this is a different game, we’re at home, and whatever team I put out will be one that will try and win us the game.”
