Get Well Soon, Nicky

EVERYONE at Argyle wishes a speedy recovery to Nicky Hunt, the Accrington Stanley player who suffered a head injury during Saturday’s 0-0 draw with the Pilgrims at Home Park on Saturday.

Nicky was knocked out five minutes into the second half of the game after appearing to bang the side of his head against Argyle forward Ronan Murray as they fell together following a challenge.

The Accrington man, who is on loan to Stanley from Rotherham, was unconscious for nearly ten minutes before being taken to Derriford Hospital.

He was due to undergo tests and remain overnight under observation.

“I’m hoping that Hunty is okay,” said Argyle manager John Sheridan. “We wish him all the best.”
