Strike One More

JOHN Sheridan has already swooped for Ronan Murray and Gozie Ugwu, but the Argyle manager does not intend to stop there in his pursuit for more firepower.

With Nick Chadwick suspended and Warren Feeney injured, John is still looking for an experienced striker.

However, he admits that saying and doing are completely different entities, especially if it means uprooting settled family members and taking them to the Westcountry.

He said:  “I’d like to bring in another striker and I’m looking.

“I have found it difficult and I do understand, if you’re going for an experienced striker, usually he’s going to have a family with kids and it’s a big upset for them.

“So my mindset might have to start looking at players who are 20-21 years old who hopefully want to come and get games under their belt and play, but haven’t got the worries or family and the little things that can affect you.”
