Blizzard On The Way

VERSATILE midfielder Dominic Blizzard is set to become a Pilgrim.

Dominic, 27, is able to play anywhere across the middle of the pitch and comes to Home Park following his release from Westcountry rivals Yeovil Town.

He will sign his two-year deal officially on July 1.

A player of great Football League experience, the High Wycombe-born midfielder began his career as an apprentice with Watford in 2001.

Having graduated through the ranks at Vicarage Road, Dominic made more than 35 appearances for the Hornets, as well as enjoying loan spells with Stockport and MK Dons, before making his move to stadium:MK permanent.

However, before he could kick a ball in anger, he re-joined Stockport, going on to make more than 60 appearances for the Hatters, netting five times.

Bristol Rovers was Dominic's next stop and, after two seasons as a Pirate, he made the move to Huish Park.

Dominic's debut Glovers campaign was a good one with the midfielder scoring four times in 32 outings and proving a steady, reliable influence in the centre of the park.

He is the third Yeovil Town veteran to join the Home Park ranks after Paul Wotton's return in January 2012 and Reuben Reid's arrival just last week.
