FIL Lend Fans Hand

FIRST International Lending have teamed up with fellow key sponsors of the Pilgrims, Target Travel, to provide transport for fans to Home Park for every match next season.

Target Travel, who take the Pilgrims’ first team up and down the country for their League 2 fixtures, will provide a double-decker bus for three new routes.

Buses leaving from Plympton, Plymstock and Southway will pick up fans making their way to the Theatre of Greens to cheer on John Sheridan’s team.

Thanks to a subsidy from First International Lending, who are also a key sponsor of the Youth Academy’s 2013 Milk Cup campaign, supporters will pay a maximum of £2.50 for each return trip.

Argyle’s Commercial Operations Manager James Greenacre said: “We are delighted that two of our sponsors have teamed up to provide this service to our fans.

“I’m sure that this will be well received by supporters, who can use the service, not only to reduce the cost of getting to Home Park, but to also to diminish their carbon footprint in the process.”

FIL’s Sponsorship Agent Ian Newell said: “We are happy to increase our Argyle-related sponsorship in the city.

“Target Travel also helped us move 1000s of the Green Army to Burton and Rochdale for the vital matches at the end of last season. However, this deal will hopefully get more fans to Home Park at a very acceptable price and should ensure that the attendances are the envy of most of our competitors during the 2013-14 season.”

Further information regarding the services, routes and scheduling will be available in due course.

Fans wishing to make regular use of the buses are reminded that memberships for the 2013-14 season are still available.
