Heavyweight At Home Park

FORMER Heavyweight Champion of the World Tim Witherspoon is coming to Home Park.

The man who famously floored Frank Bruno in the 1980s is hosting two sporting dinners in the Tribute Legends Lounge on Sunday, March 31 and Monday, April 1.

Tim is a popular character on the after dinner circuit, and we’re sure that these events will not only be popular, but will offer an insight into the mind of the man who famously sued Don King and his son, Carl and for two brief periods, held two different versions of the World Heavyweight Championship.

The first dinner, held the evening after the Devon Expressway derby, will cost £55 per person with doors opening at 7pm.

A succulent three course meal with table wine will be provided, which will be followed by our guest speaker taking to the stage to entertain all with his stories from in and out of the ring.

There will be the opportunity for guests to obtain some fantastic sporting memorabilia, and spaces are expected to sell at a rapid rate. Tables can be booked in blocks of eight or ten, and the dress code for the evening will be lounge suits.

The second function, a ‘curry and pint night’, will take place the following day afterward at a cost of £25 per person.

A fantastic hot fork buffet will be provided along with a complimentary drink from the bar on arrival. Tables can-not be reserved for this event and again, tickets are on a first come, first served basis.
