Torquay Youth 1 Argyle Youth 2

ARGYLE'S youngsters beat Torquay United for the third time this season having won 3-1 in the cup last October and 2-1 at Haye Road in a league game at the end of last month.

Argyle took a 15th minute lead after Josh Hutchinson's cross was handled in the area, giving Tyler Harvey (pictured) the opportunity to score 13th youth goal of the season.

Torquay were level four minutes later after the Argyle defence had failed to clear their lines for Alex Avraamidef to end a goalmouth scramble by lifting the ball over 'keeper James White.

Argyle had a great chance to restore their lead before the break but Nathan Summers sent a free header wide at the far post.

The second half was 12 minutes old when Harvey had a good opportunity to notch his second but he put his six yard drive straight at the Gull's 'keeper.

It was not until the very last minute of the game that Argyle finally notched their winner when Matt Lecointe played in Solomon Wheatley to sent a fierce drive inside the near post.
