Chuffed For Chads

ARGYLE manager John Sheridan is delighted that on-loan Pilgrims’ forward Nick Chadwick is back among the goals.

Nick, 31, has rediscovered his scoring touch since moving to Conference Premier side Tamworth recently, including the Lambs’ winner in their FA Cup first-round victory over Argyle’s League 2 rivals Cheltenham last week.

“I’m pleased for him,” said John. “Good luck to the lad. He’s gone somewhere because he wants to play.

“I was honest with Nick – I’ve got players here who I’ll pick before him.

“He’s a good old pro. He’s worked hard since I’ve been here. He had a knee injury, so he’s gone out and he’s getting his match fitness back. If he’s scored four goals in four games, he’s doing alright.”
