Boco Wants The Ball

ROMMY Boco has had a flying start to life as a Pilgrim, scoring twice in his first eight appearances.

Most of this career as a Pilgrim so far has seen him patrol the left wing but, just recently, coming into a more central position seems to have helped him and the team begin to find their feet.

Rommy said: "I'm starting to know my team-mates better and what they like, and they are starting to know that I like to be on the ball.

"Sometimes, I'm not involved in games because I don't touch the ball, but we are getting there. The manager has been working on it."

"If you look at Cheltenham away, I was on the wing, but I got a lot of the ball so it was easy for me to show that I can play football.

"I'm trying to come inside to be involved more, and trying to score a few goals as well."

The Pilgrims have now recorded back-to-back wins at Home Park and, with the help of the Green Army when Wycombe Wanderers come to town on Saturday, Rommy hopes that they can extend that feat.

He said: "We have been well supported and, hopefully, we can get three points again.

"It's up to us. If we keep winning games, there will be more fans.

"It's always better to play in front of more people, than in an empty stadium, like we are going to have in some places away from home."
