ARGYLE will face AFC Bournemouth in the first qualifying round of the inaugural Under-21 Premier League Cup on Tuesday, September 24.

The Pilgrims' development squad will travel to the Goldsands Stadium for the tie, which will kick-off at 2pm.

The game will be open to the public with free admission to all supporters.

Should the Pilgrims be victorious, they will be handed an away draw with either Watford or Bristol Rovers.

The Under-21 Premier League Cup features 51 clubs and starts with qualifying rounds for category two and three academies.

Category one clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal, then enter at the round of 32 stage in October.
