Rommy's Ultimate Finish

ROMUALD Boco's neat finish against Cheltenham Town has been nominated for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Ultimate Finish award.

Rommy's strike drew the Pilgrims' level on 16 minutes before Lewis Alessandra and Hamza Bencherif gave Argyle a 3-1 lead. The Robins fought back to draw the tie 3-3 only for the sky blue-clad Pilgirms to triumph on penalties.

Nine other net-busting scorchers have been nominated and it’s now over to you, the supporters, to decide the winner.

Eagle-eyed football fans are tasked with the demanding choice of selecting a winner by watching our exclusive video on the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy website.

The goal which collects the most votes will be the first Ultimate Finish winner of the new season.

The successful player will receive a trophy as reward for their goal-scoring brilliance, while fans who voted for the winning strike will be entered into a special prize draw for the chance to win an iPod Shuffle.

Ben Wilde, Brand and Sponsorship Manager for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, said: “The standard of goal in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy rises year-on-year and even round-on-round and the Ultimate Finish nominations for the first round is testament to that.

“The 10 selected here are all fantastic goals and, while fans are in for a real treat when they view the video, they are also facing a very tough choice to select a winner.”
