Cancellation

A lack of ticket sales for the evening, at Plymouth’s Duke of Cornwall Hotel, meant that the event simply became financially unviable.

Consequently, with great reluctance, it has been decided to call it off. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters and to those, including the Green Taverners, who had been organising and promoting the evening. 

We will be contacting the various supporters’ groups in due course to arrange for them to present their awards to the player for who they voted.

Also, as part of the new fan-engagement practices announced recently, we will be consulting with supporters during the coming months on how best to ensure that an Awards Night/end-of-season party returns to the Argyle calendar next year.
