MARK Haywood is the man in the middle for Argyle's trip to Burton Albion on Saturday.

The game with be Mark's 32nd of a busy season for the Yorkshireman, and the 14th in Sky Bet League 2. So far this season he has issued 63 yellow cards - an average of about two per game - and sent off five players. He has awarded eight penalties.

He has officiated Argyle on two previous occasions. The first was five years ago this weekend, when Argyle won 1-0 at Blackpool thanks to a Gary Sawyer goal. His next Pilgrims fixture was in march 2012, when he presided over a 1-1 draw at Home Park against Bristol Rovers, in which Matt Harrold's early goal for the visitors was cancelled out by Maxime Blanchard's late leveller.

He will be assisted at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday by Simon Brown and Simon Clayton.
