Argyle v Exeter - The Wall Of Colour

HOME PARK is going to be transformed into a Wall of Colour when the new season kicks off at Home Park.

The Pilgrims players will be greeted by a massive, vibrant, fans’ mosaic laid on by the Green Army when they take to the pitch for their tasty Devon Expressway Derby on Saturday, August 16.

The sea of green – and white and black – will sweep around Home Park after John Sheridan’s new-look Argyle team take to the field for the first time in the league since last season to the familiar strains of the club tune, Semper Fidelis.

The display is just part of an exciting opening week of the new Football League season in which supporters of all clubs will be encouraged to display their colours with pride at their team’s opening home fixture.

The Wall of Colour campaign is aimed at bringing together thousands of individuals with one thing at the heart of their joint identity – their club colours.

We want the Green Army to play their part in turning Home Park – and Plymouth – greener than ever before.

Of course, we want you to wear your colours with pride to the Devon Expressway Derby, be it on a shirt, scarf, hat or even by painting your face or body green.

But why wait until match-day? You can start getting involved right away.

Tweet us pics showing you wearing, displaying or otherwise demonstrating your green allegiance to @Only1Argyle, using the hashtags #pafc and #wallofcolour.

Or post them on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/plymouthargylefc.

Or email them to us at argyle@pafc.co.uk, putting ‘Wall of Colour’ in the subject line, and we’ll create a gallery on the official club website.

We would especially like to see Argyle shirts and scarves in unusual and odd places.

And those of you who are skilled with Photoshop might like to have a go at re-painting some famous Plymouth – or world – landmarks.

If you run a business or organisation, how about holding a Green Day in the week leading up to the game for customers, staff and clients? If you do, please do not forget to send us a picture.

However, whenever and wherever, just get the Green out and let us know all about it.

Tickets are now available for the game to all supporters. Call our Ticket Office on 0845 872 3335 or buy online now at www.eticketing.co.uk/pafc
