Andy In The Middle

ANDY Madley will be the man in the middle of Argyle’s Dockyard Derby this Saturday, where both teams will pay tribute to the armed services.

The Yorkshire-born ref has officiated 14 games in total this campaign, issuing 44 yellow cards, one red, and has awarded four penalties.

Andy’s last game saw him officiate Nottingham Forest’s 2-1 win over Norwich City in the Sky Bet Championship, where Madley cautioned five players.

Madley has only officiated a game featuring Argyle on two occasions; a 2-1 loss away to Burton Albion in 2011, and Argyle’s defeat to Burnley in the Capital One Cup in 2012.

Andy is brother to the official Robert Madley, who last officiated Argyle in their 2-1 home loss to Exeter City last season.
