Appreciating Alex

ALEX Bray has expressed his gratitude towards the Argyle squad, after the club sent the former loanee his signed, match-worn shirt from his sole Pilgrims outing.

Alex, 19, was brought in on loan and came on as a substitute in Argyle's 1-0 win at Luton last month. However, just over 10 minutes after coming off the bench, he was carried off, having suffered a serious knee injury. He returned to parent club Swansea, where he was diagnosed with a ruptured anterior ligament.

In the short time he was a Pilgrim, Alex made an impression on the lads, who signed the shirt he appeared in - as well as get well soon card - and represented it in a commemorative frame.
