Happy Return

WITH Argyle having picked up four Sky Bet League 2 wins so far...

...the Pilgrims are looking to get their fifth under their belt this Saturday away at Accrington Stanley.

Last match-day, the Pilgrims were victorious in a 2-0 home win over Hartlepool United, and defender Kelvin was happy to return to winning ways after a previous home reverse to Wycombe Wanderers.

“It was a good result last weekend, nice to get back on winning terms,” he said. “I think we deserved nothing more less; we were better than Hartlepool.

“We’ve had a good start to the season; we haven’t done ourselves any worries; we have a good set of lads.”

Argyle currently sit in 12th spot in League 2 after a decent start, knowing that a win on Saturday could see them move into a play-off spot.

Mellor is still sure only about the uncertainty of the league, admitting that anything can happen and that it is a hard division to get out of.

He said: “All the games are tough in this league. You get teams near the bottom beating the ones that are higher up, and you think ‘how’s that possible?’ But anything’s possible in this league."
