Nigel in the Middle

So far this season, Nigel has issued 15 yellow cards in the six games he has officiated, and awarded three penalties. He is yet to give a player their marching orders. 

Nigel last officiated Argyle in February this year, overseeing a 2-0 away win at Northampton Town in the league. 

The County Durham-born referee has been kind to the Pilgrims, as he has yet to show two yellow cards or a straight red to an Argyle player. 

Argyle’s record with Nigel has been a mixed bag, picking up four wins, three draws and three losses over a ten-year period.
