KEVIN Johnson, from Somerset, will be taking charge of Argyle for the second time this season when the Pilgrims meet Wimbledon on Tuesday night, at Home Park.Kevin was the man in the middle for Argyle’s 1-1 home draw with Stevenage in August. In the game, which saw a last-gasp equaliser from Deane Smalley, Kevin dished out three yellow cards, including one to wing-back Kelvin Mellor.
In his first season of refereeing in the Football League, Kevin has taken charge of 25 games and has so far handed out a total of 83 yellow cards and five reds.
Tuesday will be Kevin’s 14th time as a referee of a Sky Bet League 2 game this season; in his previous 13 outings he has brandished 36 yellows and two reds.
The only other time Kevin has featured in an Argyle match was as a fourth official in the recent 3-1 derby victory over Exeter City.
