Live Long and Vospers

ARGYLE travel to Vospers Oak Villa on Saturday afternoon for round three in our new Peninsula League adventure.

The Pilgrims have secured maximum points in the opening two fixtures and they now face a side reeling from a painful 11-1 defeat to Liskeard in midweek, but there will be no slacking in the Green ranks.

“We don’t need to guard against complacency because we would never allow that in the camp,” said Head Coach Kevin Nancekivell. “We’re just concentrating on what we need to do and we disregard the result they had in midweek.

“They will want a reaction from their own performance but we just concentrate on what we’re doing. It is still very early days and the main thing for us this season is to ensure all the lads are getting 90 minutes every Saturday.”
