ARGYLE forward Marvin Morgan has joined Hartlepool United on loan.

Marvin, 31, is moving to the Pilgrims’ Sky Bet League 2 rivals until the end of the season.

Pools’ manager Ronnie Moore travelled to Home Park last week to watch Marvin play in a Final Third Development League game and saw the 6ft 4in forward score both goals in a 2-1 victory over Newport County. Marvin was then not involved as Hartlepool beat Argyle 3-2 at the weekend.

Marvin has made only five league starts for the Pilgrims this season and none since the first week of October.

His only league goal of the campaign came back on September 20 when he celebrated the birth of his son, Miles, by scoring the opener in a 2-0 victory over...Hartlepool.

That result was just one that has made life miserable for Pools this season, with new manager Moore now tasked with a massive rearguard action to keep the side in the Football League.

Everyone at Home Park wishes Marvin well in his time at Victoria Park.
