Keith in the Middle

KEITH Hill is the referee for this Saturday’s Sky Bet League 2 home match against visitors Luton Town.

Keith, a former sales manager and former FA regional referees' manager for East Anglia, is now in his sixteenth season of officiating in the Football League. During that time, the 46-year old has refereed Argyle four times.

Mr Hill’s first experience of Home Park came in 2007, when Argyle beat Coventry City thanks to a Lee Martin goal.

Keith was the official when Argyle travelled to Walsall in August 2010 and lost 2-1 to the Saddlers. Argyle had Kari Arnason sent off that day, and Walsall’s winning goal was scored by none other tha  Reuben Reid!

Keith has also presided over a 1-1 draw with Swansea at Home Park, and a 1-0 defeat at Burton Albion in 2013.

This season, the Hertfordshire whistler has overseen a total of 22 games across the Sky Bet Championship, League 1, League 2, the Capital One Cup, the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and the FA Cup. He has shown a total of 73 yellow cards, 4 reds and has awarded 7 penalties.
