Pilgrims Lose Drew

DREW Talbot has been recalled by Chesterfield with immediate effect.

The 28-year-old midfielder's loan spell at Home Park ended suddenly on Monday lunchtime, when he was on his way, with the rest of the Argyle squad, to the following night's Sky Bet League 2 match at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Instead, he was diverted to the Procat Stadium, where League 1 Chesterfield will host Gillingham on Tuesday.

Drew made his Argyle debut in the 3-2 defeat at Hartlepool on January 31 and has featured in nine Argyle games this season, playing in a variety of positions.

Everyone at Home Park thanks Drew for his time as a Pilgrim and wishes him nothing but the best for his future career.
