Sheridan led Argyle to a run of four straight victories in February before losing 2-0 to Bury on the final day of the month. Meanwhile Alessandra netted three times in five games for the Pilgrims.

Portsmouth duo Andy Awford and midfielder Jed Wallace instead reaped the rewards for Pompey's undefeated February, picking up Manager and Player of the Month awards respectively. 

Portsmouth took 14 points from six February games, with Wallace scoring once and assisting four times in their 6-2 victory away against Cambridge United. Wallace scored twice in February including a last-minute winner against Exeter City. The highly-rated 21-year-old also scored against Argyle back in October 2013 in a televised 1-1 draw at Home Park.
