Shez Finds the Ansah

ZAK Ansah has become John Sheridan’s second loan signing in two days.

The 20-year-old striker is joining Argyle on loan from Charlton Athletic until the end of the season, where he will join Addicks team-mate Tareiq Holmes-Dennis.

Zak is yet to make a first-team appearance for Charlton, but has excellent grounding in football, after spending nine years as a youngster at Arsenal. He began to regularly make appearances for the Gunners' under-18s team at the age of 14, and was included in a Champions League squad against Olympiacos in 2012.

He is the son of Andy Ansah, who played for several Football League clubs, and is more widely known for appearing on Dream Team and coining the phrase ‘unbelievable tekkers’.

Having represented England at under-16 and under-17 level, Zak was called into Ghana’s under-20 squad for the 2013 Under-20 World Cup.

The pacy forward will wear the number 27 shirt during his time at Home Park. Welcome, Zak.
