Sign For Life

NHS BLOOD and Transplant is looking for Argyle fans to sign for a life-saving team following the recent launch of a new organ donation campaign, Sign for Life.

Three people die every day in need of an organ and there are currently around 7,000 people on the waiting list. There are simply not enough organs available, so lovers of the beautiful game are being asked to think about joining the register and then share their decision with friends and family.

A single organ donor can transform the lives of up to nine people. So, if more people signed the register, and their families then agreed to donate their loved one’s organs, more lives could be saved.

Whatever the result on today, you can help the NHS score another name on the organ donor register.

To join the team, go to www.organdonation.nhs.uk, sign the organ donor register, and tell your friends and family about your decision to help save lives in the future.

Join the conversation online using #organdonor – you could also post a selfie on Facebook or Twitter in your favourite football shirt; and follow the campaign on twitter at @NHSOrganDonor and facebook.com/organdonationuk
