A POWERFUL Plymouth Argyle side that included a number of players with first-team experience proved far too strong for Wendron United.
Louis Rooney kept up his excellent form with another two goals to his tally and the others to notch for those in Green included Lee Cox, Ryan Lane, Tallan Mitchell and Callum Hall.
The victory keeps Argyle in with a chance of catching runaway leaders Mousehole as they have two games in hand, but the gap remains a daunting 11 points.
“I was delighted with the performance and the result,” said Head Coach Kevin Nancekivell. “It was a real pleasure to see a first-team professional with the experience of Lee Cox join our squad for the game.
“Lee showed terrific application and we also had two lads from the Under-16s in our Academy involved, a so a great experience for them.”
