A Tribute to Golf

THE Argyle Golf Day in Association with Tribute Ale was a huge success as Argyle took over St Mellion for the day.

Eleven teams of three were partnered with an Argyle player, legend, or manager Derek Adams to compete in a four-man team competition.

In beautiful conditions on one of the south west's finest courses, it was the team of Stem Group - Argyle's technology partners - along with the boss himself who prevailed. Axis and Astute, partnered by skipper Curtis Nelson, were second, with GB Tool hire coming third, with the help of Graham Carey.

We were also delighted to welcome teams from WH Bond, Bidvest, C&D Electrical, Mansbridge Balment, Tribute, Green Taverners, Argyle Community Trust and the Vice Presidents Association. Other Argyle players on show were Kelvin Mellor, Gregg Wylde, Tyler Harvey and Craig Tanner. Former Pilgrims Luke Young and Sean McCarthy were also part of the day.

A huge thank you goes to our main sponsor, Tribute, who also sponsored the tricky 17th hole, where they had a truck present giving out welcome refreshments to many beleaguered golfers!

We would also like to thank our hole sponsors: Securi-Guard, Pasoti, Vokera, Jewson, Ilfracombe Foodservice, LTC Powered Access, Mansbridge Balment, Baytek, Xpo Logistics, Ocean BMW, Cornish Farm Produce, Tribute and Nearly Naked Veg.
