ARGYLE youngsters slipped to a third successive Football League Youth Alliance Merit 1 defeat on Friday, when they lost 3-1 to AFC Wimbledon.
The Under-18s, who are defending the Merit League title they won last season, went behind to their visitors in the first half of the game, which was played at Seale-Hayne College.
However, they turned around level after Jack Calver quickly equalised.
The Young Pilgrims went behind again in the second half, when Wimbledon caught them out with a long ball through the middle.
The visitors made sure of the points when they bundled the ball in at the far post to claim their third goal.
