Iain in Charge

26 February 2016

IAIN Williamson will be the referee when Argyle meet Notts County at Home Park.

His last time in charge of the Pilgrims was on February 14, 2015, when Argyle won 2-0 against Cambridge United. Ryan Brunt and Lewis Alessandra scored late goals to give Argyle the win; Williamson showed one yellow card in the game, to United's Ryan Donaldson.

We have lost once in ten games with Iain in charge at Home Park. Strangely, that one occasion saw the official send of Charlton goalkeeper Nicky Weaver in the opening monites of the game, yet a brace from Leroy Lita saw the Addicks emerge victorious.

This season Iain has refereed 25 games, issuing 102 cautions and sending off six players, including former Argyle loan player Drew Talbot.
